If you're serious and keen, drop me a PM and I can point you in the right direction. I'm not sure where you are, but there are plenty of excellent pipers and teachers in North America. (The current world champions are Canadian). Try the Bob Dunsire Bagpipe Forums.. It's powered by the same forum as this one. Cheers all! |

My fiancee just booked tickets for us to see the Tattoo this year. I've always wanted to go and I'm really looking forward to it. Whenever I'm in the need for some piping music I go to the bbc and stream the latest episode of pipeline.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...ne_02_01_2010/ Although it works for me here in Aus I do believe it is meant to be region specific so it may not work for everyone. In response to the OP, I stayed at Euro Hostel when I was in Glasgow. Was the end of '05 though so things may have changed a fair bit, but I remember that the dorms were comfy, the TV is huge and the breakfast was really good. Oh and the place was full of hot chicks! - This I remember well as I was not single at the time ![]() www.euro-hostels.co.uk/glasgow |
