yay dark_un!! congrats on your visa coming through!!! and on your marriage
![]() unfortunately, I have bad news. I called the embassy today and spoke to the lady in charge of the teaching program and she said I was "towards the bottom" of the waiting list and it's not very likely they will be able to offer me a spot in the program. I've kept my name on the list for now, but I really doubt they will get back to me. now it's time to move on I guess. I'm really disappointed but there's not really anything I can do, I guess. Thanks for all the encouragement anyway, guys. I guess I need to sign up for the GRE now so I can apply for grad school in the fall. But first... who wants to help me plan for backpacking in Europe in September for my birthday??
