Travel By Train

Train travel is faster and generally more expensive than bus travel.  I traveled almost exclusively by train while in Europe and found the trains to be fast, easy to use, clean, and punctual.  I believe the extra cost of trains (minor especially if you qualify for a youth pass) is completely worth it in the long run.  Use bus travel for special tours or if you are strapped for cash.

Travel Tip: When trying to determine which rail pass is the best for you, use RailSaver. It will help save you money by calculating the best combination of passes and tickets for your specific itinerary.
